Questions and Answers

What is SaaS Maker? SaaS Maker is a SaaS development platform. You can launch real SaaS-applications in substantially less time, risk and cost.

What types of applications can I build? You can build SaaS applications for marketing campaigns, non-profits, event planning, healthcare, engineering projects, fintech, construction, and more. You can migrate your legacy applications as a fast path to cloud-enablement. You can integrate with your legacy systems, AI, blockchain, or open source. Your applications will be fully SaaS-enabled, mobile (version 3+), multi-tenant, and portable across datacenters. And, you can sell your apps in the store!

Why is it important? You too can be a dotcom rock star! You no longer need a team of developers and million dollars to launch your own SaaS business. With SaaS Maker, you just need a good idea and some basic skills. The SaaS business is big… about $50 billion in 2018, and expected to grow for the next decade and beyond! The opportunities are abundant to disrupt the biggest SaaS companies of the world.

How does SaaS Maker work?
SaaS Maker includes three main parts:

  1. The SaaS Maker Factory: Easy-to-use design tools for building business applications without programming. Add rich user experiences, forms, workflows, reports, and even publish your “apps” as subscription-based services;
  2. Platform as a Service (PaaS): A “prefab” application architecture delivered as an on-demand cloud service. The platform manages complex functions: sign-on, user administration, role-based security, application multi-tenancy and scaling. The good news is that you can simply accept the magic;
  3. SDK and open API: Empowers developers to build applications that leverage and extend the platform, limited only by their wildest imaginations!

What about SaaS migrations?
Developers can use the API to cloud-enable legacy systems; and/or to consolidate legacy systems on a common platform. It’s the easiest way to knock down stovepipes and dramatically lower your long-term costs of ownership.
